Andrew Akada

Andrew Akada is a Writer and Filmmaker living in Seattle. Since graduating from Western Washington University, he has worked as a volunteer for the Northwest Film Forum, and in various roles within the SPL and King County Library Systems to support his filmmaking endeavors. He’s written and directed three short films and drafted several short and feature screenplays. In 2019, he penned the script for Fresh Cup Films’ production of “If a Tree Falls”. As of winter 2024, he has completed writing the 6-episode limited series “John Brown’s Body.”
